About Dr. Luke

Hey, I’m Dr. Luke Huffman. I’m a relationship expert and trauma healing specialist who helps individuals and couples rebuild trust, heal emotional wounds, and create lasting love.

I started this work because relationships weren't always easy for me. I’ve been through betrayal, separation, divorce, and the kind of uncertainty that makes you question everything you thought you knew about your relationship and yourself. I know what it feels like to replay conversations in your head, wonder what you missed, and try to figure out whether something can still be saved.

Those experiences changed the way I see relationships. They also changed the way I help people.

My approach goes deeper than communication tips, attachment labels, or trying to figure out your partner’s love language. Those things can be useful, but they usually aren’t enough when a relationship is already in crisis. If trust is broken, resentment has built up, or one person is shutting down while the other is desperately trying to reconnect, there is usually a lot more happening underneath the surface.

That’s why my work focuses on emotional safety, nervous system regulation, trauma healing, self-awareness, trust, intimacy, and the patterns that keep two people stuck. I bring together relationship science, emotional intelligence, CBT-based tools, somatic work, and polyvagal-informed ideas in a way that is practical and easy to understand.

I also believe one person can change more than most people realize. You can't control your spouse or force them to choose the relationship, but you can change the way you show up, the way you respond, and the environment the relationship is happening in. That is where the first real shift begins.

At the end of the day, my goal is not to give you more information. It is to help you understand yourself, understand what is happening in your relationship, and give you something real to work with so you can move forward with more clarity, peace, and confidence.

I want this work to feel like a place where you can finally make sense of what has been happening and start building something healthier from here.
